How to Log In to ANTE

This guide will help you access the ANTE system for the first time.

Log in in four quick steps
1 / 4

In your browser, go to https://ante.ph (or the address your administrator gave you).

Before You Start

You will need:

  • Your username (provided by your administrator)
  • Your password (provided by your administrator) — unless you're a newly hired employee, in which case you set your own password from an activation email instead of receiving one from your administrator. See Activating a New Employee Account below.
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Activating a New Employee Account

If you were just added as an employee, you won't be given a password by your administrator. Instead, ANTE emails you a one-time activation link:

  1. Look for an email titled "Activate your [company] account on ANTE", with a Set My Password button. It also includes your username. The link expires after 7 days — if it has expired, ask your administrator to resend your invitation.
  2. Click Set My Password (or paste the link from the email into your browser). You'll land on a Welcome! Set Your Password page that greets you by name.
  3. Enter a New Password and re-enter it in Confirm Password. A live checklist shows each rule (length, uppercase/lowercase, a number, a special character, and not resembling your username or email) checking off as it's satisfied.
  4. Click Activate Account.

You're taken to the login page with a confirmation banner ("Account activated! Please sign in with your new password.") and can now sign in with your username and new password, as described below.

Step-by-Step Login Instructions

1. Open Your Web Browser

Launch your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).

2. Navigate to ANTE

Type the following address in your browser's address bar:

  • Production: https://ante.ph
  • Testing (if applicable): Ask your administrator for the test URL

3. Enter Your Credentials

If your company has set up a login notice, you'll see it displayed on the login page before you sign in (for example, an authorized-use notice). Not every company configures one.

On the login page, you'll see two fields:

  1. Username Field: Enter your username
    • Example: juan.delacruz
    • Usernames are not case-sensitive — Juan.DeLaCruz, juan.delacruz, and JUAN.DELACRUZ all log in to the same account
  2. Password Field: Enter your password
    • Passwords are case-sensitive
    • Make sure Caps Lock is off

4. Click Login

Click the blue Login button or press Enter on your keyboard.

Signing In with Google, Facebook, or Slack

If your administrator has enabled sign-in with Google, Facebook, or Slack, you'll see an "or continue with" divider below the Login button, with a More sign-in options button underneath it.

  1. Click More sign-in options. You're taken to a Choose a sign-in method page listing a button for each enabled provider — Sign in with Google, Sign in with Facebook, and/or Sign in with Slack.
  2. Click the button for your provider. Your browser leaves ANTE and goes to that provider's own sign-in/consent page (Google only asks for your basic identity — it does not request access to your Calendar or other data at this step).
  3. Sign in there, or simply approve access if you're already signed in to that provider.
  4. You're redirected back to the ANTE login page, where sign-in finishes automatically — you land in the app without re-entering your ANTE username or password.

Click Back to sign in on the "Choose a sign-in method" page if you'd rather use your username and password instead.

If something goes wrong:

  • If a provider isn't set up for your company, clicking its button shows a message right there (e.g. "Google sign-in is not configured on this server.") — ask your administrator.
  • If you're redirected back to ANTE without being signed in, look for an error message on the login page, such as "No ANTE account is linked to this Google account. Connect from your profile first." (link the provider account first — see My Profile — Connections Tab) or "Google sign-in failed. Please try again."

Note: These provider sign-in options only appear once your administrator has enabled them. If you don't see the More sign-in options button, sign in with your username and password instead.

After Successful Login

Once logged in, you'll see:

  • Dashboard: Your main homepage with important metrics
  • Sidebar Menu: Navigation to different modules on the left
  • User Menu: Your profile settings in the top right corner

Troubleshooting Login Issues

"Invalid username or password"

  • Double-check your username spelling
  • Ensure Caps Lock is off
  • Try retyping your password carefully
  • Contact your administrator if the problem persists

"Account is locked"

  • Too many failed login attempts lock your account
  • Wait 15 minutes and try again
  • Contact your administrator to unlock immediately

Page Won't Load

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try a different browser

Forgot Your Password?

  1. Click the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for reset instructions
  4. Follow the link to create a new password

Switching Accounts / Adding Another Account

ANTE lets you stay signed in to more than one account at the same time. Click your avatar (profile picture) in the top-right corner of the header and choose Add another account to sign in with a second set of credentials.

New-Device Verification when Adding an Account

If the device you are using has not been recognized before, ANTE cannot add the account immediately after you enter your username and password. Instead, the dialog switches to a verification step:

  1. A 6-digit verification code is emailed to the address associated with your account (shown as a partially hidden address, e.g. j***@example.com).
  2. Open your email and find the message from ANTE.
  3. Type the 6-digit code into the Verification Code field in the dialog.
  4. Click Verify to complete adding the account.

If you did not receive the code: Click Resend in the dialog. Wait a few moments and check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive.

To go back: Click Back to login to return to the username and password step so you can try different credentials.

Once verified, the account is added and the page refreshes. If the account belongs to a different company on its own subdomain (e.g. yourcompany.ante.work), that company's workspace opens in a new browser tab.

Note: Your device is remembered after the first successful verification. On subsequent logins from the same device, the verification step is skipped automatically.

Security Tips

🔒 Keep Your Account Secure:

  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Log out when leaving your computer
  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Change your password regularly
  • Report suspicious activity immediately

First-Time Login

If this is your first time logging in, or an administrator just created your account, you'll be taken straight to a Change Your Password screen instead of the dashboard. You must set a new password before you can do anything else in the system — the only other option is to sign out. This also happens if an administrator resets your password for you, or if your existing password has passed the company's password-expiry limit.

On the Change Your Password screen:

  1. Enter your Current Password (the one you were given).
  2. Enter a New Password and re-enter it in Confirm Password. A live checklist shows each rule (length, uppercase/lowercase, a number, a special character, and not resembling your username or email) checking off as your new password satisfies it.
  3. Click Change Password and Continue.

Once your password is changed, continue with:

  1. Set up your profile information
  2. Review your notification preferences
  3. Familiarize yourself with the dashboard

If your password is about to expire (but hasn't yet), you'll instead see a dismissible warning after logging in telling you how many days remain, with a Change it now link to your profile's Security tab.

Staying Signed In

Some companies configure an idle timeout. If your account has one and you leave the app inactive (no mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, or key presses) for that many minutes, you're automatically signed out and returned to the login page with a message explaining why. Simply sign back in to continue — just move the mouse or interact with the page periodically to stay signed in during active use.

Demo Accounts: When Your Access Window Ends

If you were invited as a demo / trial client, your account has a limited access window rather than unlimited access. A few things are different for this kind of account:

  • First login: the first time you sign in, ANTE also emails you a "your demo has started" notice stating the date your access ends.
  • Reminder emails: you're emailed 3 days before, 1 day before, and on the day your access ends, so the expiry doesn't come as a surprise.
  • You're signed out automatically when it ends — even if you're in the middle of a session, an expired demo window signs you out right away. You're returned to the login page with a message: "Your demo access ended, so you were signed out. Use Request Access below to ask for more time."
  • Asking for more time: sign in again with your usual username and password. You won't get in, but the login page now shows "Your demo access has expired" together with a Request Access button (this button only appears after this failed sign-in attempt — you won't see it on a fresh login page). Click Request Access to notify whoever set up your demo; the message changes to confirm your request was sent.
  • Your data is kept. Nothing is deleted when access ends — everything you entered comes back the moment your access is extended. You'll be emailed once it is, along with the new expiry date.
