My Profile
My Profile is your personal account page. It is where you update your own name and contact details, change your password, link or unlink social sign-in accounts (and your own Multibook ERP connection, if your company uses one), review the devices you're signed in on, choose your theme and language, and manage your push notification preferences. These settings apply only to you β they don't change anyone else's account.
Overview
The page is organized into five tabs:
| Tab | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Profile | Your profile picture and account information (name, email, phone) |
| Security | Your last sign-in time and changing your password |
| Connections | Linking or unlinking Google, Facebook, and Slack sign-in, and β if your company uses it β your own Multibook ERP connection |
| Sessions | The devices currently signed in to your account |
| Preferences | Your theme (light/dark/system), language, and push notification preferences |
The page opens on the Profile tab by default.
Opening My Profile
- Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen to open the account menu.
- Click Manage Account.
This takes you to your My Profile page. The breadcrumb at the top reads Settings β My Profile.
Profile Tab
This tab has two sections: your Profile Picture and your Account Information.
Profile Picture
Your picture appears as a large avatar, with your name and (if available) your role shown beneath it. If you haven't uploaded a picture, your initials are shown instead.
- Upload - Choose an image file from your device to use as your picture.
- Remove - Remove your current picture and go back to your initials. This button only appears once you have uploaded a real picture.
When you upload, keep these limits in mind:
- Accepted file types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP.
- Maximum size: 2 MB.
If you pick a file that isn't one of the accepted types, or one that is too large, the upload is rejected with a message and nothing changes.
Removing a picture asks you to confirm first. Confirm to remove it, or cancel to keep it.
Account Information
Profile edits are no longer applied immediately. When you click Submit for Approval, a change request is sent to HR. Your changes take effect only after an HR reviewer approves them. The form stays editable while a request is awaiting review β you can make further changes and re-submit at any time, which will replace the pending request.
The Account Information section is organized into sub-tabs. The Personal sub-tab is visible to everyone. The Government IDs and Bank sub-tabs appear only when your account is linked to an employee record.

Submitting a change request
- Navigate to the sub-tab (Personal, Government IDs, or Bank) with the fields you want to change and edit them. You can switch between sub-tabs and edit fields in more than one before submitting.
- Click Submit for Approval.
- A confirmation dialog appears. If no request is pending, it shows every field you changed (old value β new value) and asks you to confirm.
- Optionally, attach Supporting documents (for example, a birth certificate for a corrected date of birth). Click the upload area or drag files into it. You can attach multiple files of any type. This step is optional β you can submit without any attachments.
- Click Yes, submit for approval to send the request to HR, or Go back & review to return to the form without submitting.
The Submit for Approval and Cancel buttons stay disabled until you actually change something. If you clear First Name or Last Name, the submit is blocked because both are required.
After submitting, your proposed changes are visible in a Pending Profile Change banner above the form.
Replacing a pending request
The form remains fully editable even while a change request is awaiting HR review. If you make further edits and click Submit for Approval while a request is still pending, a Replace your pending request? dialog appears instead of the standard confirmation. The dialog shows:
- Current pending request (will be replaced): the changes HR has not yet acted on.
- Your new request: the changes you are about to submit.
You can also attach Supporting documents in this dialog (same upload field as in the standard submit flow). Any files you attach will accompany your new request; they replace any attachments from the previous pending request.
Click Replace & submit to cancel the pending request and send the new one to HR, or Go back & review to return to the form. HR will review only the new request β the old one is discarded.
Pending change request banner
While your request is awaiting HR review, a Pending Profile Change banner is shown above the form. The banner lists every change you requested (old value β new value) and notes that you can edit your profile and re-submit to replace the pending request.
Getting notified of the outcome
When HR approves or rejects your request, you receive an in-app notification in the notification bell at the top of the screen:
- Approved: "Your profile change request was approved." Your profile has already been updated.
- Rejected: "Your profile change request was rejected." Clicking the notification takes you directly to My Profile, where the rejection notice (including any reason HR provided) is shown automatically.
Rejected request notice
If HR rejects your request, a notice appears above the form showing:
- That the request was Rejected.
- The name of the HR reviewer and the date.
- The reason given by HR (if any).
- The changes that were reviewed.
The form is unlocked so you can correct your details and submit a new request. Click Got it to dismiss the notice once you have read it.
Older requests that were handled before this change may show a Cancelled status β this is a historical state and behaves the same way (form unlocked, free to resubmit).
Security Tab
This tab shows your Last Sign-In and lets you Change Password.
Last Sign-In
This panel shows the date and time of your previous sign-in, so you can spot any access you don't recognize. If there's no record yet, it shows that you have never signed in before.
Change Password
| Field | Required |
|---|---|
| Current Password | Yes |
| New Password | Yes |
| Confirm Password | Yes |
Each field has a show/hide toggle so you can reveal what you typed.
As you type a new password, a strength indicator appears below the fields, showing Weak, Fair, or Strong, and a live rule checklist shows each password requirement checking off as you satisfy it:
- At least 8 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least one number
- At least one special character
- Not similar to your username or email
- Not a common word or predictable pattern (e.g.
qwerty,123456, repeated or sequential characters)
Change Password stays disabled until every rule passes.
To change your password:
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter your New Password.
- Re-enter the same password in Confirm Password.
- Click Change Password.
The Change Password button stays disabled until all three fields are filled in, the new password matches the confirmation, and the new password satisfies every rule in the checklist above. If the two new-password fields don't match, the Confirm Password field shows a "passwords do not match" message. After a successful change, the fields are cleared.
Connections Tab
This tab lets you link your account to social sign-in providers so you can sign in with them, and β if your company has it set up β link your own Multibook ERP account so Multibook syncs and postings run as you. Each connection is shown as its own row.
| Connection | What it is |
|---|---|
| Email & Password | Your standard sign-in. Always shown as connected, with your email address. This one can't be disconnected. |
| Sign in with your Google account. When linked, the row shows the connected Google email. | |
| Sign in with your Facebook account. When linked, the row shows the connected email. | |
| Slack | Sign in with your Slack account. When linked, the row shows the connected email. |
| Multibook | Link your own Multibook ERP account β syncs and postings run as you. This row only appears once your company has a Multibook connection configured (see Cloud Credentials β Multibook Tab). |
Each connection row shows one of the following:
- A Connected badge when the account is already linked. A Disconnect button appears next to the badge (except for Email & Password, which can't be disconnected).
- A Connect button when the account is not yet linked.
Connecting an account (Google, Facebook, Slack)
- On the provider's row, click Connect.
- You are taken to that provider (Google, Facebook, or Slack) to sign in and grant access.
- After you approve, you return to this page and see a success message. The row now shows Connected.
If a provider hasn't been set up by your organization yet, choosing Connect simply shows a "coming soon" notice instead of starting the sign-in.
Slack connection requirements: Before you can link your Slack account, a company administrator must first install the Ante bot in your organization's Slack workspace (see Settings β System Settings β Slack). When you click Connect for Slack, you must sign in to the same workspace the bot was installed in β signing in to a different workspace will not work. If your company's Slack bot is not yet installed, contact your administrator.
Connecting your Multibook account
The Multibook row only appears once an administrator has configured a Multibook connection for your company (Settings β System β Cloud Credentials β Multibook). That company-level setup is separate from this step β every user who needs Multibook features must also link their own account here.
- On the Multibook row, click Connect.
- Your browser takes you to a Multibook sign-in page. This page belongs to Multibook, not ANTE β enter your Multibook username and password there. ANTE never sees or stores your password; once you sign in successfully, it only receives a revocable access key.
- You're returned to this tab automatically. The row now shows Connected as
<your Multibook username>with a Connected badge and a Disconnect button.
If your sign-in doesn't succeed, the Multibook page explains why and lets you try again without leaving that page. Reasons you may see include:
- Wrong username or password (note: usernames are case-sensitive)
- Your Multibook account is locked
- Your Multibook account isn't allowed to sign in to this company
- A required field is missing
- The link expired β connect links are only valid for 10 minutes; go back to ANTE's Connections tab and click Connect again
- The link was already used
- Too many sign-in attempts
- Multibook isn't set up correctly, or Multibook itself is temporarily unavailable β try again later
If something goes wrong before you even reach that page (for example, your company's Multibook connection isn't set up correctly), ANTE shows an error message right on the Connections tab instead β usually asking you to contact your administrator.
Disconnecting an account
- On a connected provider's row, click Disconnect.
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
The link is removed. Email & Password has no Disconnect option, so you always keep at least your standard sign-in.
For Multibook, the confirmation dialog reads "Disconnect Multibook?" and warns that Multibook operations (such as the chart-of-accounts sync, or syncing an approved reimbursement to Multibook, both in Treasury) will stop working for your account until you reconnect.
"Already linked to another account"
If the social account you're trying to connect is already linked to a different person in your organization, you're shown a confirmation dialog naming that person. If you confirm, the system moves the link from that account to yours and continues β you may be asked to approve at the provider again. You can also cancel and leave things as they are. (This does not apply to Multibook.)
Sessions Tab
This tab lists every device currently signed in to your account, so you can review and end any you don't recognize.
Each session row shows:
- The browser and operating system (for example, "Chrome on Windows").
- The IP address and how long ago the session started (such as "5m ago", "2h ago", "3d ago").
- A device icon (desktop, mobile, or tablet).
The session you're using right now is marked with a Current badge and can't be signed out from here.
Signing out a single device
- Find the device in the list.
- Click Log Out Device on that row.
- Confirm in the dialog.
That device is signed out and the list refreshes.
Signing out all other devices
- Click Log Out All Others at the top of the section. (This button only appears when you have other sessions besides your current one.)
- Confirm in the dialog.
Every device except the one you're using is signed out.
Preferences Tab
This tab controls how the app looks, what language it uses, and your push notification preferences. Theme and language take effect immediately β there is no separate save button.
Theme
Choose how the interface looks:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Light | Always use the light appearance |
| Dark | Always use the dark appearance |
| System | Follow your device's own light/dark setting |
A badge at the top of this section shows the currently active appearance (Light or Dark), and notes when System is in use.
Language
Choose the language for the interface:
| Option | Shown as |
|---|---|
| English | English |
| Japanese | ζ₯ζ¬θͺ |
| Thai | ΰΈ ΰΈ²ΰΈ©ΰΈ²ΰΉΰΈΰΈ’ |
A badge at the top of this section shows your current language. Selecting a language switches the interface right away.
Notifications
Push notifications let ANTE notify you on this device β as a real OS-level notification β even when Ante isn't open in a browser tab. This is separate from the in-app notification bell, which only works while Ante is open.
A status badge next to the section heading shows where you stand:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| On | Push notifications are turned on and your browser has granted permission |
| Off | Push notifications are turned off |
| Blocked by browser | You denied the browser's permission prompt; the toggles are disabled until you allow notifications for this site in your browser settings |
| Unavailable | Your browser or environment doesn't support push notifications β the toggles are replaced with an explanatory message |
Push notifications (the master switch) β turning this on immediately triggers your browser's notification permission prompt; choose Allow to finish enabling. If you deny it, the badge switches to Blocked by browser and the toggles become disabled, with a hint to allow notifications for the site in your browser settings and try again. Turning the switch off stops push notifications on this device only β any other device you're signed in on keeps receiving them β and disables the three toggles below.
Once the master switch is on, three toggles let you choose what pushes a notification to this device. Each defaults to on and can be turned off individually:
| Toggle | Notifies you about |
|---|---|
| Workspace notifications | Tasks, approvals, filings, payroll, and other workspace events |
| Chat messages | New direct and channel messages |
| Support tickets | New tickets and replies on your tickets |
Tapping a push notification opens Ante straight to what it's about β a chat notification opens that conversation, a ticket notification opens that ticket, and a workspace notification opens the related item, the same as clicking it in the notification bell would.
Tip: You'll also see a quick Enable banner in the notification bell dropdown (top-right of the screen) whenever your browser's notification permission is still undecided. Clicking it does the same thing as turning on the master switch here.
Common Tasks
Update your name, contact details, or other profile fields
- Open My Profile (profile picture β Manage Account).
- On the Profile tab, go to the Account Information section and select the sub-tab with the fields you want to change: Personal, Government IDs, or Bank. Edit the fields. You can switch between sub-tabs and edit fields in more than one before submitting.
- Click Submit for Approval.
- Review the confirmation dialog. If you have supporting proof (such as a birth certificate for a corrected date of birth), attach it using the Supporting documents upload field β this is optional.
- Click Yes, submit for approval.
HR will review the request. Your profile updates once they approve it.
Change your profile picture
- On the Profile tab, click Upload under your picture.
- Choose a JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP file no larger than 2 MB.
Change your password
- Open the Security tab.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
- Click Change Password.
Link Google, Facebook, Slack, or Multibook
- Open the Connections tab.
- For Google, Facebook, or Slack, click Connect, then sign in with that provider.
- For Multibook (shown only once your company has it configured), click Connect, then sign in with your Multibook username and password on the page you're taken to. You return to this tab automatically once you're signed in.
Sign out a device you don't recognize
- Open the Sessions tab.
- Click Log Out Device on the device in question and confirm. Use Log Out All Others to clear everything except your current session.
Switch theme or language
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Pick a theme and/or language β the change applies immediately.
Turn on push notifications
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Turn on the Push notifications switch and choose Allow on the browser's permission prompt.
- Optionally turn off Workspace notifications, Chat messages, or Support tickets individually β each stays on by default.
Tips
- Profile changes need HR approval - Edits are not applied immediately. They are reviewed by HR before taking effect.
- You can re-submit while a request is pending - The form stays editable even when a change request is awaiting HR review. Re-submitting replaces the pending request β HR will review your new changes instead of the old ones.
- Supporting documents speed up approval - If your change needs proof (for example, a corrected date of birth), attach the document (any file type) in the submit dialog so HR has everything they need to decide.
- First Name and Last Name are required - You can't submit an account information request with either left blank.
- Government IDs and Bank sub-tabs are employee-only - These sub-tabs only appear if your account is linked to an employee record.
- A stronger password is safer - Mix upper and lower case, numbers, and symbols, and make it longer, to reach Strong. Your new password must also satisfy every rule in the checklist (length, character mix, and not resembling your username/email or a common pattern) before it can be saved.
- Review the Sessions tab regularly - If you see a device, browser, or location you don't recognize, sign it out.
- Check your last sign-in - The Security tab shows when you last signed in, which helps you notice unexpected access.
- You always keep Email & Password sign-in - Even after linking social accounts, your standard sign-in can't be removed.
- Push notifications are per device - Turning off the master switch (or signing out) only stops push notifications on that device; any other device you're signed in on keeps receiving them until you turn it off there too.
- Multibook is a two-step setup - An administrator connects the company to Multibook in Cloud Credentials first; the Multibook row only shows up here after that, and you still need to click Connect yourself before Multibook features (like the chart-of-accounts sync) will work for you.
