Developer Dashboard

The Developer Dashboard is the landing page of the Developer Panel. It gives system administrators a single, system-wide overview of the whole installation — across all companies — at a glance: how many companies and users exist, who is online right now, how AI usage is trending, and how users are spread across companies.

Unlike a normal company dashboard, every figure here is counted across the entire system, not a single company. It is the first screen you see when you enter the Developer Panel.

⚠️ Developer Access Only

This screen is part of the Developer Panel and reports on all companies on this installation. It is only available to accounts flagged as developers, and the panel is protected by a one-time-password (OTP) gate (see Developer Panel).

Getting Here

  1. Open the Developer Panel (from your account menu in the top-right header, then enter the OTP).
  2. In the developer sidebar, the Overview group is open by default.
  3. Click Dashboard.

The Dashboard is also the panel's default page, so you usually arrive here automatically right after entering the panel.

What's on the Page

The Dashboard is made up of two parts: a row of counter cards along the top, and a set of widgets below them (a wide main column and a narrower side column).

Counter Cards

Four summary counters sit across the top of the page:

Total CompaniesThe total number of companies on this installation.
Total UsersThe total number of user accounts across all companies. Large numbers are shortened (for example, 1.2K for 1,200 or 3.4M for 3.4 million).
Online UsersHow many users are currently logged in across the whole system.
AI Tokens UsedThe total number of AI tokens consumed across all companies. Large numbers are shortened the same way (K for thousands, M for millions).

While the figures are still loading, the cards show a loading state and then fill in with the real values.

Widgets

Below the counters are four widgets.

User Growth (main column)

An area chart of new user registrations over the last 30 days.

  • Use the 7D / 14D / 30D buttons in the top-right of the widget to switch the time window between the last 7, 14, or 30 days. It opens on 30D.
  • Hover over any point on the chart to see a tooltip with that day's date, the number of New Users that day, and the running Total number of users.
  • If there is no data yet, the widget shows a "no data" message instead of a chart.

  • Hover over a point to see that day's date, the number of Tokens used, and the number of API Calls made.
  • Token amounts on the chart's scale are shortened (K for thousands, M for millions).
  • If there is no data, a "no data" message is shown.

Online Users (side column)

A live list of users currently online across all companies. The widget title shows the current count.

  • Each entry shows the user's avatar (with a green online indicator), their name, and their company.
  • Click any user in the list to open their user-info dialog with more detail.
  • If no one is online, the widget shows a "no users" message.

Company Distribution (side column)

A donut chart showing how users are distributed across companies.

  • The five companies with the most users are shown individually; everyone else is combined into a single Others slice.
  • The number in the center of the donut is the total user count across the shown companies.
  • Hover over a slice to see that company's name, its user count, and its share as a percentage.
  • A legend beneath the chart lists each company with its user count.
  • If there is no data, a "no data" message is shown.

Customizing the Layout

The Dashboard layout is personal to your account — you can rearrange, hide, resize, and re-add widgets, and your choices are remembered the next time you open the page.

Enter Edit Mode

Press the F9 key to turn editing on or off. While editing, a floating action bar appears at the bottom of the page.

While Editing

  • Drag a widget by its drag handle to reorder it or move it between the main and side columns.
  • Use a widget's width controls to set it to Half width or Full width.
  • Click a widget's × (Hide widget) button to remove it from the dashboard.
  • Click Add Widget in the action bar to open a panel of hidden widgets; drag one back onto the dashboard to restore it. (The button changes to Close while the panel is open.)
  • Click Reset to return the dashboard to its default layout.
  • Click Cancel to discard your changes and leave edit mode.
  • Click Done to save your changes and leave edit mode.

Pressing F9 again also exits edit mode and saves your layout.

Common Tasks

Check the Health of the Whole System at a Glance

  1. Open Developer Panel → Overview → Dashboard.
  2. Read the four counters across the top — Total Companies, Total Users, Online Users, and AI Tokens Used.

See Who Is Online Right Now

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Look at the Online Users widget in the side column — the title shows the current online count.
  3. Click a user to open their details.

Review Recent User Growth

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. In the User Growth widget, choose 7D, 14D, or 30D.
  3. Hover over the chart to read the new-user count and running total for any day.

Review Recent AI Usage

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. In the AI Usage Trends widget, choose 7D, 14D, or 30D.
  3. Hover over the chart to read the tokens used and API calls for any day.

Tailor the Dashboard to What You Care About

  1. Open the Dashboard and press F9 to start editing.
  2. Drag, resize, hide, or re-add widgets as you like.
  3. Click Done to save.
