ANTE User Manual

User Management (Developer)

The developer Users screen lists user accounts across all real (non-demo) companies in the system. From here you can search and filter users, open a user's full profile, create new users in any company, change a user's password, delete a user, and log in as a user.

Accounts that belong to a company tagged Demo do not appear here — they live on the separate Demo Users screen instead (same sidebar group), which also shows each demo client's access window and lets you extend it. The two lists never overlap.

⚠️ Developer Access Only

This screen is part of the Developer portal. The per-user actions (Edit, Change Password, Delete, Login As) are only available to accounts with developer privileges.

Getting Here

  1. Open the Developer portal.
  2. In the sidebar, open the Access group.
  3. Click Users.

Common Tasks

Finding a User

  1. Go to DeveloperAccessUsers.
  2. Type a name, username, or email into the search box, or apply one of the filters above.
  3. Click a row to open that user's profile.

Viewing User Details

Click any row in the list to open the user's detail page. It is organized into these sections:

  • Profile — photo, full name, role (and department, if any), email, contact number, account status badge, and a Developer badge if applicable.
  • Account Information — Username, Email, Company, Role, Department, Role Level, Account Status, and Email Verified (Verified / Not Verified).
  • Personal Information — First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Civil Status, Contact Number, and Address.
  • Supervisor — the user's supervisor (or "No supervisor assigned").
  • System Metadata — User ID, Role ID, Created date, and Last Updated date.

Creating a User

  1. On the Users list, click Add User (top right).
  2. Fill in the Company section:
    • Company (required) — choose the company the user will belong to. Roles and supervisor lists are filtered by this choice.
  3. Fill in Personal Information:
    • First Name (required)
    • Middle Name
    • Last Name (required)
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender — Male / Female / Other
    • Civil Status — Single / Married / Divorced / Widowed
  4. Fill in Contact Information:
    • Email (required, must be a valid email)
    • Contact Number
  5. Fill in Address (all optional):
    • Street
    • City
    • State / Province
    • Postal Code
    • Country
  6. Fill in Account Settings:
    • Username (required) — saved with the capitalization you type, but login and uniqueness checks are case-insensitive (you cannot create Glen if glen already exists in the same company).
    • Role (required) — enabled after a company is selected.
    • Supervisor — enabled after a role is selected.
    • Password (required, at least 6 characters)
    • Confirm Password (required, must match the password)
  7. Click Create User.

On success you are taken to the new user's detail page.

Changing a User's Password

This works for a user in any company, not just your own — useful when a user can't be reached through their own tenant's Settings page.

  1. Open the user's detail page.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter the New Password (4–100 characters) and confirm it.
  4. Save the change.

This is a temporary hand-off password, not the user's permanent one — it does not have to meet the company password policy (no uppercase/number/symbol requirements). Read it out to the user over chat or a call. The next time they log in, they'll be required to set their own password (which does have to meet policy), and all of their existing sessions are signed out immediately.

Deleting a User

  1. Open the user's detail page.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm in the dialog. This soft-deletes the account.

Logging In As a User

  1. Open the user's detail page.
  2. Click Login As.
  3. Confirm in the dialog. You are switched into the user's account; you can switch back from the account menu.

Editing a User

  1. Open the user's detail page.
  2. Click Edit to change the user's details.
  • Company Management — Manage companies
  • Demo Users (same Access sidebar group) — the equivalent list scoped to demo-tagged companies. Its Access Status filter (Active / Expired / Floating / No window) tracks each account's invited access window instead of the plain Deployed/Floating status used here. From a demo user's detail page, a Demo Access section shows their access window and an Extend access button (1/3/7/14/30 days) that emails the client once access is restored.
