Customer Rank

A customer rank is a named level you give your customers, such as Bronze, Silver or Gold, shown with an icon and placed in an order you choose. Ranks are a simple way to label how valued a customer is. They are separate from memberships: a membership decides the discounts a customer gets, a rank is the tier badge. You reach the screen at Point of Sale → Customers → Customer Rank.

Rank List

The list shows the rank's icon, Rank Name, Description, Order, Clients (how many customers hold it) and Status. Search by All Fields, Name or Description and filter by Status. Click a row to open the rank, or Add Rank to create one.

Rank Details

Opening a rank shows Rank Information (Name, Description, Icon, Display Order, Status, Client Count) and a Customers table of the customers who hold it, with their Customer, Contact, Membership and Referrals. Edit opens the same form as adding, and Delete asks for confirmation.

Deleting a rank

A rank that customers still hold cannot be deleted; the system tells you how many customers have it. Move those customers to another rank first, or switch the rank off with the Active switch instead.

Editing a Rank

The edit form has the same five fields as the add form. Renaming a rank to a name that another rank already uses is rejected.

Tip

Leave gaps in the Display Order (10, 20, 30) so you can slot a new rank in between later without renumbering the rest.
