ANTE User Manual

POS Dashboard

The POS Dashboard is the opening screen of the Point of Sale module. It answers the question a store owner asks every morning: how is the counter doing today? A row of counters sits across the top and a set of widgets below shows the last 30 days of sales, what sold, how customers paid, and whether the counter devices are online. You reach it at Point of Sale → Dashboard.

Sample figures for now

The numbers on this dashboard are currently sample data that the screen generates for itself. It is not yet connected to your real sales. For real figures use the Sales Report and the Analytics Reports.

How It Connects

Set up first

  • Device Management — devices and their fund accounts must exist before the device widgets have anything to list.
  • Cashier Management — cashier accounts are what the Active Cashiers counter and the cashier column count.

Gets its data from

  • Order Management — the sales and orders recorded there are what the sales widgets summarize.
  • Customer Membership — the membership tiers are the slices of the Customers by Membership widget.

Feeds into

  • Sales Report — for the full itemized detail behind the daily totals.
  • Analytics Reports — for deeper cuts by product, cashier, branch and hour.
