Dashboard FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask most often about their ANTE Dashboard — what it shows, how to reshape it, and how to reach your own HR records from it. Each answer links to the page that covers the topic in full.
Your Dashboard at a Glance
What is the Dashboard, and what does it show me?
The Dashboard is your personal home page in ANTE — the first screen after you log in, and where the home/logo button always returns you. It is built from widgets: self-contained panels that pull together your tasks, HR filing requests, attendance, payslips, announcements, time tracking, and more. The layout has three parts: a row of counter cards at the top, a wide main area holding your work widgets, and a narrow sidebar of quick-glance widgets. See the Dashboard Module page for what each widget does.
Where does the information on my Dashboard come from?
Every widget shows your own records, drawn from the module that owns them — tasks from the Task Module, filings, payslips and attendance from Manpower, petty cash from Treasury, and events from the Calendar. The Dashboard also adapts to your role and setup: Petty Cash reads "No petty cash assigned" unless you hold a fund, and the Request Panel only offers purchase requests if you are allowed to raise them.
Which counters appear at the top, and can I add more?
Four counter cards are shown by default: Outstanding Requests, Days Before Cut-off, Leave Balance, and All Tasks. Four more — Pending Approvals, Overdue Tasks, Attendance Issues, and Unread Alerts — can be switched on while customizing the Dashboard.
Customizing Your Layout
How do I add, move, resize, or hide a widget?
Press F9 anywhere on the Dashboard to enter edit mode. Each widget gains a control strip — a drag handle to move it (including between the main area and the sidebar), a size toggle to switch main-area widgets between half and full width, and × to hide it. A floating edit bar at the bottom offers Add Widget, Reset, Cancel, and Done. Pressing F9 again saves and exits, exactly like Done. Full detail: Customizing Your Dashboard.
A widget I was told about isn't on my Dashboard — where is it?
It is most likely hidden rather than missing. My Employment Information and My Schedules are hidden by default, and any widget you hide moves into the same place. Press F9, click Add Widget in the edit bar, and drag the widget's card from the Hidden Widgets panel onto the main area or sidebar. Hiding never deletes a widget.
Does changing my layout affect anyone else?
No. Your layout is saved against your own account, so it follows you across devices and sessions and changes nothing for your colleagues. Note that Reset saves the default layout the moment you click it — Cancel will not bring your old arrangement back.
Your Records and Daily Work
How do I look up my own employment records, payslips, and time sheet?
Turn on the My Employment Information widget, then click Review on any of its ten cards — employment and job details, shift, allowances, documents, contract, government IDs, leave credits, deductions, and time sheet. Everything there is read-only; your bank account number is masked until you confirm your password. Payslips have their own widget: Payslip Summary, where setting a date range filters the list automatically (no button to click) and scrolling down loads more. See My Employment Information.
Can I file a leave or overtime request from the Dashboard?
Yes. In the Request Panel widget, click + and choose Leave, Overtime, Official Business, Certificate of Attendance, Schedule Adjustment, Rest Day Work — or Purchase Request if you are allowed to raise one. Track it under Pending until it moves to Done or Rejected. If Submit is greyed out, the date you chose falls inside a payroll cut-off that has already moved past Timekeeping; the form explains which period is locked, and HR has to make the correction.
Why does the Time Tracker say my time isn't counted for attendance?
The line under the timer tells you what the session counts toward. Task time only - not counted for attendance appears when a real attendance punch isn't possible: you have no employee record, your schedule doesn't have Time Tracker enabled, or you are off an allowed network. The clock keeps running and the time is still logged against the task, but it never reaches your daily time record or payroll. If it reads Timed in at the kiosk — time out there, you already have an open facial-recognition punch for the day and must end it at the kiosk.
