Treasury Module

The Treasury Module is where you manage your company's money and books β€” bank and cash accounts, payables, receivables, petty cash, and the full accounting ledger (journals, financial statements, schedules, fixed and leased assets, tax, and configuration).

Overview

Open Treasury from the main sidebar (the Treasury icon). Selecting it opens the Treasury sub-menu on the left, with the Dashboard at the top and all working areas grouped beneath it. If your permissions don't include the Dashboard, opening Treasury instead takes you straight to the first area you do have access to.

Module Sections

Dashboard

The Treasury Dashboard is a configurable board of widgets that summarizes the module at a glance:

  • Payables Overview
  • Receivables Overview
  • Fund Account Balances
  • Cash Flow Summary
  • Receivables and Payables trend graphs
  • Top Suppliers
  • Invoice by Client

You can arrange the widgets to suit how you work.

Fund Account

Manage the company's bank and cash accounts. View each account, its balance, and its transaction history. Fund accounts can be created, viewed, and edited, and bank statements can be imported into an account.

Payables (money going out)

  • Purchase Order β€” manage purchase requests, purchase orders, canvassing, and order payments.
  • Suppliers β€” maintain the supplier list and supplier details.
  • Request for Payment β€” maker/approver/releaser workflow for paying suppliers, employees, or other payees. Every generated Purchase Order automatically gets its own linked request.
  • Aging Report β€” view outstanding payables grouped by age.

Receivables (money coming in)

  • Collection by Invoice β€” record and track collections against sales invoices.
  • Collection by Project β€” view and process collections grouped by project.
  • Collection by Client β€” view and process collections grouped by client.
  • Aging Report β€” view outstanding receivables grouped by age.

Petty Cash

  • Petty Cash Holders β€” manage the people who hold petty cash funds.
  • For Liquidation β€” review and process petty cash liquidations.

[Reimbursements](./reimbursement)

Employee expense claims: anyone files a claim backed by receipts, their supervisor approves it, and Treasury pays it back. Approved claims can also be pushed into the Multibook ERP as an Expense Reimbursement document.

Accounting

The accounting ledger:

  • Documents β€” source documents that feed the books.
  • Journal Vouchers β€” prepared vouchers awaiting posting.
  • Journal Entries β€” posted journal entries. The page header has an Import button that opens the AI-assisted Import Journal Entries wizard for bringing in a GL transaction listing from another system, and an Export button that downloads the list to Excel. A Business Partner column (hidden by default β€” enable it from the table's column controls) shows each line's customer/supplier/vendor when the entry came from an import; the same column appears on a Journal Voucher's detail page when the voucher has one, and in the Excel export.
  • Chart of Accounts β€” the company's account structure. The page header has an Add Account button and an Actions menu (Seed Standard Chart, Export to Excel, Import from Excel, Delete All, and β€” once your company has Multibook set up in Cloud Credentials β€” Sync with Multibook, which downloads the chart of accounts from Multibook and marks synced rows with a Multibook badge). Import from Excel first tries to map the uploaded file straight from its own column headers β€” including the headers ANTE's own Export to Excel writes (Account Code, Account Name, Parent Account Code, Account Type, Normal Balance, FS Type, Balance Sheet Section, Category) β€” so a chart exported from ANTE and re-imported is mapped instantly with no AI involved. AI is only used as a fallback for files whose headers it can't recognize, and even then only to fill in what the file itself leaves blank: it works out the parent/child hierarchy when the file has no Parent Account Code column, and assigns a category only to rows that don't already have one. While an import is working, a progress dialog shows a spinner and the current step (for example "Reading the file…" or "Mapping columns…"). On the Review step, a warning may appear if some accounts have no recognizable account type and will import untyped β€” set their type on the account after import. The sync runs under your own Multibook connection: link your account first at My Profile β†’ Connections, or the sync stops with "Connect your Multibook account in My Profile β†’ Connections to run this sync." If your linked account later stops working (for example your Multibook password changed), the sync asks you to reconnect there instead. The Add/Edit Account form also has a Posting configuration section (require department / business partner / segment / tax code / line description, and FX revaluation for AR/AP) that Multibook sync keeps up to date on accounts it manages, and an AI guideline β€” when to use this account text box describing the kind of spend or activity that belongs to the account β€” this is what ANTE's AI reads when it suggests an account for a reimbursement expense line.

πŸ’‘ Note: Treasury data is sensitive, and each area is permission-controlled β€” you only see the items your role grants access to. General Treasury access (Fund Account, Payables, Receivables, Petty Cash, Reimbursements) does not by itself grant the accounting side of the module: Accounting, Financial Statements, Schedules, Leased Assets, Fixed Assets, and Configuration are each gated by their own permission, so a role built for operational treasury work (for example petty cash or reimbursements only) will not see the books unless it is also granted access to them. If a menu item is missing, or opening one of its links sends you back to your Dashboard, contact your administrator about your access.
