ANTE User Manual

Tasks

The Tasks page is the central place to view, filter, and act on every task assigned to or created by you β€” project tasks, process approval steps, and standalone to-dos β€” in one table or board.

Opening the Page

Open the Workspace menu in the sidebar and click Tasks.

The page title shown at the top is Tasks, with a subtitle that displays how many tasks currently match your filters (for example, "12 tasks").

Overview

This single screen gathers all of your tasks and lets you slice them by type, status, assignee, priority, due date, and project. You can read them as a table or as a column board, search by keyword, and perform quick actions (mark done, pause, archive, delete) directly from each row.

Page Layout

Counter Cards (Top)

Four summary cards sit at the top of the page. They reflect your current filters:

  • My Tasks β€” your active tasks
  • For Review β€” tasks waiting for your review/approval
  • Overdue β€” active tasks whose due date has already passed
  • Completed β€” tasks you have finished (Done)

Type Scope (Toolbar)

A row of buttons that narrows the list to a kind of task:

  • All β€” every task type
  • Project Tasks β€” tasks attached to a project
  • Process Tasks β€” approval/process steps
  • Standalone β€” tasks that belong to neither a project nor a process
  • Done β€” completed tasks

Status Tabs

Next to the type scope, tabs group tasks by where they are in your workflow. Each tab shows a count badge:

  • Tasks β€” your active tasks
  • Review β€” tasks awaiting your review
  • Paused β€” tasks you have paused
  • Assigned β€” tasks assigned to you
  • Collaborate β€” tasks you collaborate on
  • Archived β€” tasks you have archived (with a restore/delete option)

Filter Bar

Below the tabs is a filter bar:

  • Search box β€” type to find tasks by title, project name, project code, or assignee name ("Search tasks…")
  • Assignee dropdown β€” filter by the person a task is assigned to
  • Priority dropdown β€” filter by priority level
  • Status dropdown β€” filter by board status (e.g. Backlog, In Progress, Done)
  • Due Date dropdown β€” choose All Dates, Overdue, Due Today, Due This Week, Due Next Week, or No Due Date
  • Project dropdown β€” filter by project (shown only when project tasks are present; searchable)
  • Clear (n) button β€” appears when filters are active; clears all filters at once

View Toggle

On the right of the filter bar are two buttons to switch how tasks are displayed:

  • Table view β€” a list of tasks in rows
  • Board view β€” tasks arranged in status columns (a Kanban-style board)

Table Columns

In table view, each task row shows:

  • Title β€” the task name
  • Project β€” the project code or name (or "β€”" if none)
  • Status β€” a colored chip for the board status
  • Priority β€” a colored priority chip
  • Assignee β€” the assigned person's avatar and name
  • Due Date β€” the due date (highlighted when overdue or due soon)
  • Age β€” how long ago the task was created

Extra columns appear depending on the tab:

  • Completed β€” shown on the Done view
  • Submitted By β€” shown on the Review tab
  • Reason and Paused For β€” shown on the Paused tab

Row Actions

Click a row to open the task's detail dialog.

Right-click a row to open a context menu with quick actions (some are hidden depending on the task and your role):

  • View Details β€” open the task dialog
  • Open in New Tab β€” open the task on its own page
  • Mark as Done β€” move the task to Done
  • Mark In Progress β€” move the task to In Progress
  • Move to Backlog β€” move the task to Backlog
  • Pause Task / Resume Task β€” pause until tomorrow, or resume a paused task
  • Archive β€” archive the task (creators of normal tasks)
  • Delete β€” permanently delete the task (asks for confirmation)

You can also drag table rows to reorder them; the new order is saved automatically.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Combine filters β€” use the type scope, status tab, and filter dropdowns together to focus on exactly the tasks you need.
  • Watch the counters β€” the My Tasks, For Review, Overdue, and Completed cards update as you filter.
  • Use search β€” the search box matches task title, project, and assignee name.
  • Clear quickly β€” the Clear (n) button resets all active filters in one click.

πŸ“Œ Note: The address /projects/task (without a task ID) automatically redirects to the Project Dashboard. To work with your tasks, use Workspace β†’ Tasks.
