The Variations tab on the Items page lists every item including its variation children, giving you a flat, detailed view of all your stock-keeping units.
Overview
The Variations tab is part of the consolidated Items page. While the All Items tab shows only parent items, the Variations tab shows the full list — parents and their individual variations together — so you can see every SKU, its size/UOM, pricing, and stock at a glance.
Note: The old "Advance View" address now opens this tab automatically. From the Assets menu, open Items and click the Variations tab.
Getting Here
- Click Assets in the sidebar
- Open Items
- Click the Variations tab (the second tab, with the grid icon)
The Items page has four tabs:
- All Items — parent items only
- Variations — every item including variations (this page)
- Groups — item groups
- Deleted — soft-deleted items, with a restore action
Page Layout
At the top of the Items page, a row of stat cards summarizes your item data:
- All Items — total number of items
- Parent Items — items that are not variations or groups
- Variations — total number of variation items
- Deleted Items — soft-deleted items
Below the stats, the page header shows the Items title and an Add Item button. The tab strip and the items table fill the rest of the page.
Table Columns
The Variations tab shows these columns:

| Variation For | The parent item this variation belongs to |
| Size | Item size |
| UOM | Unit of measure (abbreviation) |

| Est. Cost | Estimated buying price |
| Selling Price | Selling price |
| Stock | Current stock quantity (shown in red when negative) |
You can sort by Name, SKU, Est. Cost, and Selling Price by clicking the column header.
Search
Use the search box above the table to find items by:
- Item Name
- SKU
Common Tasks
Viewing an Item
- Open the Variations tab
- Click any row to open that item's detail page
The detail page shows the item's full information. For a parent item, it includes a Variations section listing each variant with its SKU, size, UOM, estimated buying price, selling price, minimum/maximum stock levels, point value, and current stock.
Viewing or Editing from the Row Menu
Each row has an actions menu with:
- View Info — open the item detail page
- Edit — open the item edit form
Note: Items are not deleted directly from the Variations tab. To delete a parent item, use the All Items tab. Deleting a parent removes its variations along with it.
Adding an Item
- On the Items page, click Add Item (top right)
- Fill in the item form and save
Variations are created and managed as part of the item form itself — there is no separate "add variation" screen on this tab. Once an item has variations, they appear here in the Variations tab and in the Variations section of the item's detail page.
