All Items (Simple View)

The Items page is where you manage all your item records. It opens on the All Items tab, which lists your main (parent) items in a simple table. This is the view that used to be called "Simple View" — ideal for quick lookups.

If you have an old bookmark for "Simple View", it now opens the Items page on the All Items tab.

Overview

The Items page shows a row of summary cards at the top, a set of tabs, and a table of items. The All Items tab is the default and lists your parent items (it does not show individual variations or item groups).

  • Page title: Items
  • What it's for: Manage your item master data, variations, groups, and services
  • Where to find it: Assets → Items

Page Layout

  • Add Service button (top right, secondary) — start creating a new service item
  • Add Item button (top right, primary) — start creating a new inventoried item
  • Summary cards — at-a-glance counts (see below)
  • Tabs — All Items, Variations, Groups, Services, Deleted
  • Items table — searchable, sortable, and paginated

Tips

  • Use clear names and codes — consistent names and SKUs make searching faster.
  • Watch the Stock column — negative stock appears in red so you can spot it quickly.
  • Show prices when you need them — turn on the Est. Cost and Selling Price columns from the column controls.
  • Use the Services tab — it filters the list to only service items and hides inventory-only columns.

💡 Note: All Items, Variations, Groups, Services, and Deleted are all tabs on the same Items page. The All Items tab is best for quick lookups of your main items.
