Lease Journals
Treasury → Leased Assets → Lease Journals is where lease accounting reaches the general ledger. It lists every lease document already posted and reminds you of the monthly journals that are due, with a one-click button to post them all.
Due Journals Reminder
When one or more active leases have a monthly journal whose due date has passed and which is still Pending, a banner reads "N monthly lease journal(s) due to post." Press Post all due to post them. ANTE posts each affected lease in turn and confirms with how many journals were posted.
- Open the page at month end
Check the banner for the number of journals waiting.
- Click Post all due
Every due period of every active lease is posted. A period that is already posted is not duplicated.
- Check the list below
The new Monthly journal documents appear at the top, newest posting date first.
To post a single month of one lease, use Post journal on the Repayment Schedule tab of the lease detail page instead.
