Company Warehouse

The Company Warehouse is your main inventory storage location for company-owned assets and supplies. This is typically the primary warehouse where items are received and stored before being distributed to projects or other locations.

Overview

The Company Warehouse page displays all company warehouses and their inventory counts. You can add new warehouses, view inventory, and track transactions for each warehouse.

Page Layout

When you open Company Warehouse, you'll see:

  • Add Company Warehouse button - Create a new warehouse
  • Search - Find warehouses by name
  • Warehouse Table - List of all company warehouses with details

Warehouse Table Columns

ColumnDescription
Warehouse NameThe name of the warehouse
Main WarehouseShows if this is the main/primary warehouse
RegionGeographic region of the warehouse
ProvinceProvince where warehouse is located
MunicipalityCity/municipality of warehouse
BarangaySpecific barangay location
Item CountNumber of unique items in the warehouse
ActionsButtons to view inventory and transactions

Common Tasks

Adding a New Warehouse

  1. Click the + Add Company Warehouse button
  2. Fill in the warehouse details:
    • Warehouse Name - Enter a descriptive name
    • Location - Select region, province, municipality, and barangay
    • Main Warehouse - Check if this is your primary warehouse
  3. Click Save

Viewing Warehouse Inventory

  1. Find the warehouse in the list
  2. Click the Inventory button in the Actions column
  3. View all items stored in that warehouse

Viewing Warehouse Transactions

  1. Find the warehouse in the list
  2. Click the Transactions button in the Actions column
  3. View history of all item movements in/out of the warehouse

Searching for a Warehouse

  1. Use the search dropdown to select search field (Warehouse Name)
  2. Type your search term in the search box
  3. Results will filter automatically

Tips and Best Practices

  • Designate a Main Warehouse - Mark one warehouse as your main/primary warehouse for easier organization
  • Use Clear Names - Name warehouses descriptively (e.g., "Main Office Storage", "Branch A Warehouse")
  • Track Locations - Fill in all location fields for better reporting and logistics
  • Regular Inventory Checks - Periodically verify physical inventory against system records

💡 Note: Only users with warehouse management permissions can add or modify warehouses. Contact your administrator if you need access.
