Guardian Management

Guardian Management helps you manage parent and guardian information and their connection to students.

Overview

Guardians receive notifications about student attendance and can access the Guardian app to monitor their children's school activities.

Page Layout

• Add Guardian button - Register new guardian
• Search - Find guardians
• Filter - Filter by student, status
• Guardians Table - List of all guardians

Guardian Information

Each guardian record includes:

Field	Description
Guardian ID	Unique identifier
Full Name	Guardian's name
Relationship	Parent/Guardian type
Phone	Contact number
Email	Email address
Students	Linked students
App Status	Guardian app registration
Status	Active/Inactive

Common Tasks

Adding a Guardian

1. Click + Add Guardian
2. Enter information:
   • Name - Full name
   • Phone - Mobile number
   • Email - Email address
   • Relationship - Father/Mother/Guardian
3. Link to student(s)
4. Click Save

Editing Guardian Information

1. Find guardian in list
2. Click Edit
3. Update information
4. Save changes

Linking to Students

1. Open guardian profile
2. Go to Students tab
3. Click Add Student
4. Search and select student
5. Set relationship
6. Save

Managing App Access

1. Open guardian profile
2. View App Status
3. Send Invitation to register
4. Or Reset Access if needed

Guardian Relationships

Other	Other authorized person

Guardian App

Guardians can use the Guardian App to:

• Receive attendance notifications
• View student attendance history
• Get school announcements
• Contact school

App Setup

1. Guardian registers in app
2. Enters phone/email
3. Verified by system
4. Linked to student(s)

Bulk Operations

Import Guardians

1. Click Import
2. Download template
3. Fill in guardian data
4. Upload file
5. System matches to students

Export Guardians

1. Apply filters
2. Click Export
3. Download file

Tips

• Mobile Number - Essential for notifications
• Multiple Students - One guardian can have multiple children
• Verify Contact - Ensure phone/email are correct
• App Adoption - Encourage guardians to use app
• Emergency Contact - Mark primary contact
