System Configuration

System Configuration contains global settings that affect how the entire ANTE system operates.

Configure system-wide settings including regional preferences, security options, and feature toggles.

  • General Settings - Basic system options
  • Regional Settings - Location and language
  • Security Settings - Authentication options
  • Feature Toggles - Enable/disable features
  • Save button - Apply changes

General Settings

Common Tasks

Changing Timezone

  1. Go to SettingsSystemSystem Configuration
  2. Find Timezone in Regional Settings
  3. Select correct timezone (e.g., Asia/Manila)
  4. Click Save

Enabling Maintenance Mode

  1. Open System Configuration
  2. Toggle Maintenance Mode on
  3. Enter maintenance message
  4. Save
  5. Users see maintenance message

Configuring Password Policy

  1. Go to Security Settings
  2. Set requirements:
    • Minimum length
    • Require uppercase
    • Require numbers
    • Require special characters
  3. Save

Setting Session Timeout

  1. Find Session Timeout
  2. Enter duration (e.g., 30 minutes)
  3. Save
  4. Users auto-logged out after inactivity

Feature Toggles

Enable or disable system features:

Tips

  • Document Changes - Track configuration changes
  • Test First - Test in staging if possible
  • Inform Users - Communicate major changes
  • Security First - Don't lower security for convenience
  • Regular Review - Periodically review settings
