Overview

The Project Media Library is a centralized storage for all project-related files. You can upload, organize, and link files to specific projects.

Page Features

File Browser

  • View all files in the media library
  • Filter by project

Upload Options

  • Single Upload - Upload one file at a time
  • Bulk Upload - Upload multiple files
  • Drag and Drop - Drag files directly into the library

Actions Available

File Actions

  • Upload File - Add new files to library
  • Download File - Download file to your computer
  • View File - Preview file (if supported)
  • Rename File - Change file name
  • Move File - Move to different project folder
  • Delete File - Remove file from library
  • Share File - Generate shareable link

Organization

  • Create Folder - Organize files into folders
  • Move to Folder - Organize files
  • Tag Files - Add tags for easier searching
  • Link to Project - Associate files with projects

Supported File Types

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG
  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX
  • Archives: ZIP, RAR
  • Other: Various file types supported

Common Tasks

Uploading Files

  1. Navigate to ProjectsMedia Library
  2. Click Upload button
  3. Select files from your computer
  4. Optionally select project to link files
  5. Click Upload

Organizing Files

  1. Select files you want to organize
  2. Click Move or Create Folder
  3. Choose destination folder
  4. Files will be organized

Linking Files to Projects

  1. Upload file or select existing file
  2. Click Link to Project
  3. Select project from dropdown
  4. File will be associated with project

Downloading Files

  1. Find the file you need
  2. Click Download button
  3. File will download to your computer

Tips and Best Practices

  • Organize Early - Create folders and organize files from the start
  • Use Descriptive Names - Name files clearly for easy finding
  • Link to Projects - Associate files with relevant projects
  • Regular Cleanup - Remove old or unused files periodically
  • Backup Important Files - Download critical files for backup
