In Transit Warehouse
The In Transit Warehouse tracks items that are currently being transported between locations. This helps manage logistics and track deliveries in progress.
Overview
When items are moved from one warehouse to another, they temporarily appear in the In Transit Warehouse until they reach their destination and are received.
Purpose
- Track items during transportation
- Monitor delivery status
- Prevent inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate stock counts at each location
How It Works
- Item Leaves Source - Items removed from source warehouse
- In Transit - Items appear in In Transit Warehouse
- Item Received - Items moved to destination warehouse

Common Tasks
Viewing Items in Transit
- Navigate to Assets → Warehouse → In Transit Warehouse
- View list of all items currently being transported
- Check delivery dates and status
Receiving In Transit Items
- Go to Deliveries → Pending Receive
- Find the delivery
- Click Receive to move items to destination warehouse
Tips
- Monitor Regularly - Check in transit items frequently
- Track Delays - Follow up on items past expected delivery dates
- Verify Receipt - Always confirm receipt when items arrive
