Branches

Branches allow you to manage multiple locations or offices within your organization.

Overview

If your organization has multiple offices, stores, or locations, you can set them up as branches. Each branch can have its own address, employees, and operations.

Page Layout

  • Add Branch button - Create new branch
  • Search - Find branches
  • Branches Table - List of all branches

Branch Information

Each branch has:

Common Tasks

Adding a Branch

  1. Click + Add Branch
  2. Fill in details:
    • Branch Name - Descriptive name
    • Branch Code - Short code (e.g., MNL, CEB)
    • Address - Full location address
    • Phone - Contact number
    • Manager - Assign branch manager
  3. Click Save

Editing a Branch

  1. Find branch in list
  2. Click Edit
  3. Update information
  4. Click Save

Deactivating a Branch

  1. Open branch
  2. Change status to Inactive
  3. Save changes

Note: Inactive branches are hidden but data is preserved.

Setting Main Branch

  1. Open branch
  2. Check Main Branch
  3. Save - This becomes the default branch

Branch Usage

Branches are used for:

  • Employee Assignment - Assign employees to branches
  • Inventory - Track inventory by location
  • Reports - Generate branch-specific reports
  • Access Control - Limit user access by branch
  • Timekeeping - Track attendance by branch

Multi-Branch Operations

With multiple branches you can:

  • Transfer Inventory - Move items between locations
  • Compare Performance - Branch comparison reports
  • Assign Staff - Place employees at specific branches
  • Track Sales - Monitor sales by location

Tips

  • Consistent Naming - Use clear, consistent names
  • Unique Codes - Make codes easy to remember
  • Complete Addresses - Include full location details
  • Assign Managers - Every branch should have one
  • Regular Review - Update inactive branches
