Use temporary warehouses when you need to track inventory at a location that isn't permanent. These warehouses can be created and removed as needed.
When to Use
- Event Storage - Materials for temporary events
- Seasonal Items - Seasonal inventory storage
- Construction Sites - Temporary project locations
- Overflow Storage - Extra space during busy periods

Common Tasks
Creating a Temporary Warehouse
- Click + Add Temporary Warehouse
- Enter warehouse details:
- Name
- Purpose/reason
- Location
- Expected duration
- Click Save
Closing a Temporary Warehouse
- Transfer all items to permanent warehouses
- Verify item count is zero
- Click Close Warehouse
- Confirm closure
Tips
- Set End Dates - Plan for when temporary warehouses will close
- Transfer Items - Move items to permanent storage when done
- Document Purpose - Record why the temporary warehouse was created
- Regular Review - Check temporary warehouses periodically
