Content Manager

The Content Manager is where you create, edit, and manage all content items in your CMS.

Overview

Content Manager displays all your content organized by content type. Create new entries, edit existing ones, and manage publishing.

Page Layout

  • Content Types Sidebar - List of all content types
  • Add Entry button - Create new content
  • Search - Find content
  • Filter - Filter by status, date
  • Content Table - List of content entries

Content Types

Content is organized by type. Click a type in the sidebar to see its entries:

  • Each type has different fields
  • Types are created in Content Type Builder
  • Examples: Blog Posts, Products, Team Members

Content Status

Common Tasks

Creating Content

  1. Select content type in sidebar
  2. Click + Add Entry
  3. Fill in required fields
  4. Add optional content
  5. Choose status (Draft/Published)
  6. Click Save

Editing Content

  1. Find content in list
  2. Click on the entry
  3. Modify fields as needed
  4. Click Save

Publishing Content

  1. Open content entry
  2. Set status to Published
  3. Click Save
  4. Content is now live

Scheduling Content

  1. Open content entry
  2. Set status to Scheduled
  3. Select publish date/time
  4. Click Save

Duplicating Content

  1. Find content to duplicate
  2. Click More Options (⋮)
  3. Select Duplicate
  4. Edit duplicated entry
  5. Save with new name

Deleting Content

  1. Select content entry
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm deletion

Warning: Deleted content cannot be recovered.

  • Save Frequently - Don't lose work
  • Use Drafts - Save before publishing
  • Preview - Check how content looks
  • Consistent Format - Follow content guidelines
  • Media Optimization - Use appropriate file sizes
